I have started applying for jobs. Hopefully something good will come of it.

I've had a determination re-boot during the night. I did zumba and aero-tone last night, I was able to bounce a lot more during both for the first time and then when I got home I managed 35 sit-ups with barely any difficulty (I've been stuck pretty constantly on 25 with pain and puffing) so I have re-booted overnight, bad sulky rebellious attitude gone, I am back on the wagon with my diet, feeling hungry and actually being ok with it. 24kg down, 11kg to go, I should be able to steam through this now!

Morning all.

Why do little children sleep in when I've got to be up early but wake up at 5am on my days off?

Morning.

Battleship grey again. Yesterday's brief flirtation with sunshine was obviously too much.

At least it's Friday.

Had a positive phone conversation with a potential employer last night, looks quite promising. Would require moving to Oxford for a while but I can think of worse places to live.

Morning all.

Struggling with the joyous aftermath of some insect bites on my leg. Regrettably I've inherited my mothers over-active reaction to such things so 2 bites have come up in blisters.
Still a bit of hydrocortisone cream appears to be dealing rather nicely with the inflammation (yay for free advice at pharmacies).

Bah.

Anywho, have a great day folks.

Morning.

I discovered a new vector artwork software yesterday, which I'm giving a road test. My metric for good software is if it makes me smile then it's generally a keeper. I smiled within five minutes of starting to use it, so I reckon I will be persuaded to part with the modest sum they're asking. The company is also based in the UK, and I'm always keen to support the home team, as it were.

Another nail in the coffin I'm making for Adobe software on my systems.

Whoa! The sun broke through the greyness as I typed that. Have a good weekend.

Slept until noon, finally driven out of bed by hunger and desire for coffee at 1pm, now breakfasted, contemplating the rain and how wet we're going to get finishing the duck house and getting our "babies" outside for good today!

Hoping that the sun currently over Nottingham (apparently) will make it to us later this afternoon.....Hoping!!
