SHIELD - At the moment this is suffering from nearly every character hiding information/secrets not just from each other, but the audience too. It's really boring. And one of the villains looks ridiculous even for a comic book show.

Arrow - Haven't caught the current episode, but it's quite obvious we're building up to Legends of Tomorrow to the detriment of Arrow. Right now anyway.

Flash - There was a really dumb/weird intro moment that seemed designed to fill time... then later on a BS justification for a character sticking around despite everything the audience already knows. Plus some dire out of character beats and dialogue alongside more standard, good fare. The whole episode felt cobbled together and that's unusual for this show.

Sorry Caz. Guys are non-gender specific to me. Too much time as a ski guide I guess. Nobody can pull off "folks" unless they're Scottish or have a heavily regionalised accent. And ladies & gentleman seems a little formal.

Thanks though!

I'm not even watching it, wanna go in cold. Daredevil started off way too violent, got amazing in the middle, and then was a bit weak towards the end. So the less I know about this show will hopefully mitigate some of that if it happens.

I used to be able to watch Alan Carr but bloody hell... if ever someone didn't need to camp it up any further.

Arrow - A new villain has a lot of potential at least... we keep getting placeholder scenes instead of anything of note. Everything is a hint at what's coming, with little keeping the actual episode together.

Gotham - It still can't get away from the 90's Batman films. Seemingly knowing how cheesy that makes everything, it doesn't know whether to stick with horror, comedy, or both. Meaning you have no idea when to laugh, cos the horror sure isn't scary. It keeps going OTT when just telling the story would suffice - it's really frustrating.

Oh, and there's a scene with a rocket launcher that's probably already part of a piss-taking YouTube video...

Shakespeare must be spinning in his grave.

Mark

EDIT - Actually, it wasn't him that was the inspiration for that particular film, so my bad.
