You were shocked to hear you'd made an unanticipated mistake and were in equal parts frustrated and embarrassed, feelings which turned into anger, which has since faded into apathy or maybe dejection?

Morning.

As the Lympic madness afflicting the BBC really start to get going, the TV is to be consigned to the garage for the duration. Might consider applying for a rebate on the telly licence for lack of programmes worth actually watching.

In other words, I am keeping out of the sun as much as possible. It's not that I don't like it, it's that it doesn't like me. I'm in a nice cool studio with windows wide and fans full bore, and it's just lovely.

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all.

Picking up my first ever hire car today to drive up for my Grans funeral. Should be an experience.

Have a great day folks.

Morning.

I'm on record as being anti-Olympics. There is justification for this, and I won't repeat myself. However, while I am actively trying (and failing) to avoid anything to do with the event, I hope it goes well for the athletes. It is, after all, supposed to be about the athletes, and they have worked hard to even be selected to represent their countries.

That doesn't mean I shall not be glad when it's all over. We can then concentrate on getting the country back on its feet again.

It's looking to be a slightly cooler day today, so I hope to get some work done.

Onwards and sideways!
