Best one I saw recently was in Tesco. They had 380/390g bars of Galaxy on special offer for £3 (for Valentines day). There where you walked in and also at the end of at least one aisle.
In the actual sweets aisle the same offer, right next to 200g bars for £1, also on offer

well, y'know, size matters...

That depends very much on whether you were trying to impress someone or just wanted maximum chocolate for least cost :D

Is it military policy in the West to fcuk up your soldiers with exposure to chemicals? Seems to happen every time.

Wow, just wow. I mean there are reasons that there are strict controls on waste incinerators. Apparently they don't apply if you're doing it in another country... to your own people.
I wonder if the same sort of stuff was happening at Camp Bastion.

Notorious criminal John 'Goldfinger' Palmer shot

Quote:
The 64-year-old was initially reported to have died of natural causes when his body was found at his home in South Weald, near Brentwood, Essex.

But they later launched a murder inquiry after a post-mortem examination found he had been shot in the chest.

Shot in the chest six times! Well done, Sherlock!

More here.

Axl Rose Joining AC/DC Is Reportedly ‘All But A Done Deal’

Quote:
Atlanta Radio 100.5 DJ Jason Bailey reported yesterday on his show, as transcribed by Alternative Nation, that a ‘very very good source’ is telling him that Axl Rose will indeed be joining AC/DC to front the band for the remainder of their tour. Alternative Nation first reported rumors of Rose touring with AC/DC on Monday.

“This is what I’m being told, Axl was meeting with the AC/DC group, because it’s all but a done deal that Axl will front AC/DC for the 10 remaining shows. All 10, including Atlanta.”

If I had tickets I'd want my money back, final tour or not.

I didn't think they were, certainly not a thing in this part of the UK.

Not even sure this thread covers some of the details there.

I agree NI is a backward... well, it's just backward.

So aren't they doing what Donald Trump was castigated for saying - i.e. Punishing a woman for having an abortion
