Solitary bees dont swarm (obviously) and will be great if I grow some peppers, etc again this year. Also I like taking photos of them :)

You just need a bigger helmet mount. It's fine. You want one really.
It's only 5lbs (minus lens).

This is no laughing matter young lady.
Depending on the circumstance, a bit of weight on your helmet is useful, sometimes it's a distraction. Admittedly, 5lbs might be seen as too much, but I'm sure someone will give it a go.

To much weight on your helmet can be safety risk. You don't want it titling over at the wrong moment.
