I'm glad the article makes reference to the fact that this test was designed specifically for films.
It is a simplistic test, but it's not a bad one to have/use for female character interaction.
Female characters don't have to preclude talking about men to other female characters for there percieved strength to be diminished.
As a starting point for female character interaction it's not a bad test, but it shouldn't be used as the be-all and end-all to determine a sexist text.
