Had a catch up with my boss about my position in the team. He said I come across as "uncooperative" and "intimidating" to the younger members of the teams :S
Apart from the fact that I spend hours everyweek helping others and reviewing work for them as favour.

Anyone ever considered changing their name? only £40 in Scotland, I really think im going to want to change my name and get an adult deed poll off the government, "David" would be deleted and replaced with "Daibhidh" and my surname would be a variant of my current surname but with "son" added onto it

I did, added two middle names and changed my surname to what my married name would be so I could change my passport without having to pay twice. It was easy and really straightforward.

Any particular reason you want to change your name? Personally, I'm surprised you're not changing it to bratty :P

Why is the UK Independance Party in Northern Ireland?
It's not like there's enough bigoted people over here already?

Ulster's little different to the mainland - a coalition of incompetents with their own little reality-defying agendas. People want to put the boot in as a protest vote, it's just that you're spoilt for choice over here... Plus, sectarianism's dying out with every generation (believe me, it used to be much worse), so it of course gets replaced with the same problems every other part of the UK has.

I'm in the worst bout of depression I've had in a long while, this time it feels different though, I'm still carrying on as normal at work and life in general, still exercising and seeing friends etc. I haven't really discussed it with anyone this time, I have one friend who I could discuss it with, but don't particularly want to for a few reasons; It's just what's going on in my head that feels worse, appointment with the physc needed, will make the call at lunch.

It's not a bad thing to seek help and it affects lots of people at some point in their lives.

Hope you feel better soon.

Unless I've missed something that would be one hell of a trip for a coffee. :D

Cheers guys, I've been having physc sessions on and off for the last year so I'm well versed in the process and I'm used to riding the waves that come with this illness. It's just taken a real bad turn in the last week or so.

Si, definitely up for coming up for a meet again at some point. Been many years.

Just because people are becoming too stupid? Sigh. I mean, who is really stupid enough to think the sign relates to sexual assault? :( I despair at the younger generations.

Looking at the sign, the first thought that came to mind was rape the plant.

Thereagain, I grew up in a small town surrounded by open fields, moved to the coast, where we lived in the last line of houses in the town, before it opened onto fields and here in Germany I've always lived in rural areas...
