Just had two phone calls from two friends. Once to say her mum has just died, the other to say he's just got engaged. The balance of life.

What's the life expectancy of a PS2 dance mat? My cat killed one a few years ago, but now the other is starting to tell me I'm impotent when I know my moves were actually flawless I've only had them 6 years or so *sings sweet little bumble beeeee*

I think 6 years is a pretty good life out of something you effectively spend all the time stamping on.

Yeah you miss her point there Prof The fact she's pandering to Facebook shows that's her only strength, seeming modest and "one of the people", it's cloying fakeness, but she at least is more eloquent and coherent than GWB (who isn't though).

If Palin runs for the presidency in 2012, and wins, it will be just one more nail in the coffin of our civilisation's sanity.

It was insanity that Bristol Palin got in to the finals of Dancing with the Stars!

The fact that Bush managed it makes me wonder if there is any sanity left (in America at least).

That's what an old colleague of mine would call a Barnes Wallis cheque.
