Just finished 11.22.63 by Stephen King which deals with the idea of time travel and the consequences of altering history; specifically whether you could prevent Kennedy's assassination and what would be the fallout from doing so. And what happens if the past doesn't want to be changed?

Very entertaining read as you might expect from such an experienced writer. Well worth a look.

Like the sound of that :)

I'm still reading the Jobs book on and off, I can't wait to finish it so I can get stuck into something else. I've sent a bunch of good 99p titles to the Kindle :D , so maybe one of those.

Also looking forward to the Darksiders graphic novel.

I've started reading a bit of SciFi recently as I got some free books on the iPhone. Really enjoying TC Southwell

I've read the first one of the Cyber Chronicles and I'm currently reading the 3 Slave Empire books. Would recommend them.

Not so much a book(s), but ebook readers.
I'm looking forward to the next generation of Kindle. If the screen resolution is increased, I think I'll get one.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see how it's updated, and it'll have competition in the form of B and N's Nook over here for the first time.

I'm quite happy reading on the iPhone screen. Very easy to hold when standing on the tube and last time I counted I had about 80 books on it.

I think at the very least it will have an option to be front lit. Back lighting (like on a phone/tablet) can hurt your eyes after a while. I'm hoping for an increase in screen resolution (not size) too.

That's why there is a screen brightness adjustment in the iBooks app. I can read in the dark on a low setting quite happily.

I guess I could do that on my laptop/phone. But they wouldn't be as good as a teblet/e-reader.
As I have no real need for a tablet, the ebook reader gets the win ;)

Reading on an E-ink display is so much nicer than reading on an LCD display. I have an external light for my Kindle, but I don't travel underground/in the dark too much so seldom need it on public transport. I'm happy enough with the resolution of current Kindles for me though, too.

I tried one Tesco's had on display. It just wasn't quite good enough for me. It still felt more like reading from an LCD than from paper. The text just wasn't quite sharp enough.
As far as I can tell there's no reason they can't increase the 167 pixels per inch they currently have. I'd certainly be willing to pay more for that.

Am currently reading The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: Angel of the Opera

It's good so far. Crossover between Sherlock Holmes and the Phantom of the Opera.
