I think that's on Netflix, I'm gonna have to try it.

Season 3 started last night on Channel 4. If you've not seen the previous ones they're definitely worth a watch.

Checked Netflix, maybe it's Prime...

Friday Night Dinner:

My bad, it was series 4 that started last night.

The box sets for series 1 - 3 are available on All4, no need for a subscription service (although you do have to put up with ads  )

Cheers, I'm gonna see what's on Prime first because it'll be so much easier to use if it is, but it'll likely come down to All4 no matter what (it's especially bad on a PS4!).

All4 is alright on my iPad but it's odd on my FireTV box - a lot of content (that's available on the iPad) doesn't show up on the FTV version. Seems to be mainly US shows so I guess it could be some sort of royalties/licensing issue. Suffice to say I was less than impressed when I found out about the disparity.

I remember that. Actually, pretty good because they talked about the historical events and strategies used. It wasn’t a case of getting two teams of idiots to play a game, they had to explain what they were doing to military hisotorians. Each team had someone in charge of over all strategy, and the rest of the team had to implement those decisions with their military units.

If this is coming off the reboot of Robot Wars, then I wonder if CBBC will be returning Bamzooki, which seems to fit more with the whole IT needs of the National Curriculum now, but also was quite fun to watch.

I suspected that the licence number requirement would be the way to go to limit the service to only paying viewers, it also means if you are a paying viewer and travel abroad, the licence number should also work for you there too, but I guess as it's not actually implemented, that's just guesswork at the moment.

However, while a TV licence is currently required to watch live broadcasts from other terrestrial providers such as ITV and Channel 4, the new rules so not apply to non-BBC on-demand services such as ITV Hub or Channel 4’s All4.

From The Guardian. Hence the typo.

May the farce be with you.

Currently they have no method to enforce this and (IMO) any method of doing so that was worth bothering with would be fiendishly complicated.
