Meaning you're happy or you've gone insane already?

My new job has been keeping me really busy 3 days in, despite them trying to ease me into it. Lots to learn about how things are done but I'm settling in.

It only takes me 35-40 mins to get there and back instead of a commute that takes over an hour. :D

Over the moon, not had a concussion ;)

Handed it in 3 weeks ago after I received a far better offer from another rival company for both position, remuneration, benefits etc

Was meant to have been dealing with handover of projects as I was asked to work it out (as opposed to gardening leave which is the norm) but been dragged across pretty much every project we have going to work on it and also meeting clients to discuss new work (which was awkward as they have only been told today that as of next week I won't be there any more)

Was also meant to be dealing with migrating the entire source control system... but the guy that's meant to be doing it has been ill or not really being proactive in it (which considering the book he is referencing is my personal copy and going with me next week, along with my Microsoft Intellimouse)

The frustrating bit is we have 5 weeks left until we have to move house and still havent found anywhere certain yet, a couple of maybes but there are some rather big compromises needing to be made, or the price is too high for what we want :(

I'm thinking wooden worktops and maybe grey slate floor tiles. Not sure about wall tiles yet. I also want stainless steel american fridge and I won't be going for the built in oven or hob and will have an over sized stainless steel cooker. Not sure if it will be this exact one but something similar. I'd like the wall cupboards to be a bit more exciting.

Besides it's cream not beige lol
