In 9 months the car has had:

Smashed windscreen £65
Loads of bulbs £50+
Thermostat £150
Air-con relay £170
4 new tyres £250 (fair enough wear and tear) but one immediately cut its sidewall so another was bought £65
Dint in nearside sill £450+ still not fixed yet
Front brake pads £80
Puncture of another new tyre £12
Another smashed windscreen £65

I think there's something else I'm not remembering. It's not even an old car but it is French so......

Meh, £700 on a new clutch and DMF, £50 on track rod ends, £35 on a replacement electric window menchanism and some tw@t writes it off less than a week later; two hours after I put £70 in the tank.

Still, the new(er) car is quite nice and nobody was seriously hurt.

I do too many miles... Leasing is unpractical.

Last time I tried, we got a good discount in the company and I would have paid around 189 for a Laguna with standard conditions. With my annual mileage, they wanted over a grand a month!

A clothing company on Play (yeah, I know) hasn't responded to either of the emails I've sent them about a poorly made t-shirt - I hate following up crap service like that.

Having a [LIFTED] day. Came in to work slightly late (for me) but 8am. Midwife's used my room yesterday so everything's been moved and I spend 10 mins moving everything back. My personal username won't log in but windows started a new user profile. Rebooted several times to even get to a desktop. Still couldn't access the software I need. Reboot a few times more and get access to the generic log in. Finally get things working and I'm 10 mins late in starting. Try to issue a prescription and the whole thing locks up. More reboots. Then the appointment software doesn't work so I can't see who's here. Reboot again and get back in but now the label printer doesn't work.

I feel like throwing the computer out the window and going back home.

'Fred', a secondary Amazon seller is trying to rip me off on some Nerf darts - he totally ignores that they're not even the same size as genuine darts and are actually dangerous*, before telling me that he took them out of their genuine packaging for postage costs!

* Much tougher plastic, and no hole to create a whistling effect. He also sent me a nice photo of some genuine packaged darts. Good mind to send him a photo of a genuine round

Lol, apparently Fred's 'not an expert' and is going to refund

Fraud loves a trier.

Dehumidifier sent back 'no fault found' so I have to pay all the courier costs. It was clearly broken before I sent it.

Got it back and the front is hanging off and the plastic on top looks like it has stress marks.

Now in the process of sending it back.

Man from nPower just turned up to change the electric meter for the entire site. All the managers knew 6 weeks ago.

Nobody told me so I've just had to takedown a load of servers with few guarantees that they'll come back up cleanly.

[LIFTED]

bouncing a load of servers always produces failures on reboot. One serve farm I know of had a 20% failure rate when a DR exercise was carried out.

Don't you have such things as change requests?
