Yeah, my mortgage is about a third of my net income too. Until next Wednesday when it will be infinity times my income

Hence the reason a lot of people can't afford a deposit on a house near London if they're not living at home or come in to money from another means. If you were in London, you'd need to at least triple the value of your home but keep at a similar level of salary

I know it's worse in London but that's the case elsewhere too. As I don't have wealthy relatives and/or live at home saving for a deposit is very difficult when you're paying rent, bills, etc on top. _________________Twitter Blogflickr

2 hours until my interview. I don't think I've ever been this nervous about having an interview before, as I've always landed a job if I've interviewed for it.
