Millions jam street-level crime map website

Government + Website-based project. What could possibly go wrong...go wrong...go wrong....

After being promoted on both BBC News and various websites, you'd think they would have anticipated the demand at launch. Tried it earlier, just got a blank page, it briefly worked for about 5 minutes then went down altogether!

A case of PR win, or technical fail?

Was Alun involved? ;)

Yes it failed when I tried then said my location could not be found. Probably stolen.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Meanwhile, Best Beloved managed to lock the keys inside a cash box. Okay, they were attached to a bit of string, tied to the handle, but it now means we have to destroy a perfectly serviceable cash box in order to retrieve the cash inside.

Just destroy the lock and then replace it.

That's a possible. To be honest, though, is it worth replacing the lock? A new box is under a tenner.

What would we do without China?

Well then the obvious question is - is there more than a tenner in the box?

I replaced the stereo in my car this morning. I managed to blow a fuse, which was nice. Who knew aerial connectors were live... :|

And Jon, yes, there is currently quite a bit more than a tenner in the box. 8-)

Particularly the fact that the ad has ducks looking at the reader. Just heightening their phobia.

So is that just a spelling fail or is it going to be a relationship fail too? ;)

It's a "pointing out your partners flaws and being a pedant" fail
and timing fail, should have done it before Valentines ;)
