No, you're a Dad. It has begun. You've fulfilled your evolutionary imperative of producing a child, all that's left now is to complain that things aren't like they used to be and how all this was fields when you were little.

Given trackpads have been around for twenty years, it'a amazing that you didn't know how to use one. A bit like minidiscs but more ubiquitous.

I have to confess that I am still not used to the magic trackpad or my magic mouse. I still have my USB mice in use all the time.

What a crap few days...Friday night I was out watching a friends boxing event and didn't get home until quite late, I then had to get up earlier to take the lovely lady to the doctors, when we got there we were informed the appointment had to be cancelled as the doctor was sick and they had our number wrong on the system so couldn't contact us.
I went home and began to prepare for a drift afternoon I was attending (and driving in) and was informed that my colleague had left the tickets in the office; not the end of the world though it just meant I had to rush to the office and then onto his place, about two minutes away from his house I hear a thud and pull over to find my back tyre had blown. So after we'd changed the tyre we left in a rush on our way to Queensland Raceway; when we finally arrived we were informed that someone had crashed a Skyline into the concrete barrier earlier in the day and it was fairly serious so they'd cancelled all events.
We turned around and headed home.
I've now found out my tyres (they both need doing now) will be $700 to replace.
And now having read this back I feel like I've already posted this somewhere else, but I'm still annoyed by it; so there it is again!

My 17" LCD monitor at work suddenly went blue at a consultation this morning, with the text all blurry/out of focus (like a lower resolution). By the time I came back from a home visit, it was and stayed completely blank. I've temporarily borrowed the one from the meeting room. It's tiny at 15" and supposed to be used in conjunction with the projector.
