Wasn't very good. :( The title of the book is the best bit about it.

I've recently discovered Claudia Hall Christian. I've read The Fey which was great and there are 3 other books about the same character Alexandra Hargreaves.

Is you like action thrillers then you'll like these books.

Alex The Fey

Quote:
Released from Walter Reed Hospital, Sergeant Alexandra Hargreaves settles in her hometown of Denver, Colorado. With her family and friends close, and her enemies closer, she strives to collect the pieces of her shattered life.

Then things fall apart.

Haunted by the past, and terrorized in the present, Alex must reach past pain, through memory, and beyond the grave to find her self, and her future.

"The Fey is a romance for people who hate romances, a thriller for people who hate thrillers. If I'd read this on a bus, I swear I'd have missed my stop." - J. Creasey

"I love thrillers and this one ranks up there with James Patterson and Michael Palmer - K. Williams

AlextheFey.com

The Fey is the first in the Alex the Fey thriller series.

I've just finished reading George Takei's Oh Myyy
It's an interesting read, but some of the pictures don't show up well on ebook readers (they need to be bigger to read the text).

Yes was free on iBooks too which is why I got it. Let me know what you think when you do get around to reading it.

All the ones I just ordered

On a Ninja Turtles bent at the moment, bought a graphic novel from the previous cartoon series and the novelisation of the '90 film. Also Peter David's musings on comics (whose stuff I've been reading for years and didn't know) and Alan Moore's guide to writing comics.

Been reading Sidekick (comics preview sampler). It had Shako in it, a vicious, rather intelligent polar bear that takes on the CIA in the Arctic circle

From the early days of 2000 AD apparently :)

Next up is a Batman comic, and I want to get back to my Kindle since I've brought it home from work.

I remember Shako. Taking a leaf out of Action's book, it was pretty violent. If you've never read much of the notorious Action comic from the 70's they're archived here. Give Hook Jaw a look, it's the most gruesome story I've ever seen in a comic. Jaws on steroids!
