I don't mind working overtime, but I sure as hell expect to be paid for it.

Only in Belfast would your neighbours call at the back door... Quickly eating a bowl of cereal just as something quick to sustain me before sorting a bunch of crap out, I then promptly choke on it when a neighbour batters the back door looking for mother dearest. No doubt wondering why I'm having a bowl of cereal at this time. Go round the fcuking front!

They'd be better building a fcuking bunker round here, privacy is apparently not an option.

When I was a kid friends always knocked at the back door, you didn't knock on the front door, unless it was a terrace and it was difficult to get around the back. The front door was reserved for special occasions, special guests and strangers.

Yeah, but these are adults if nothing else.

I meant all friends, friends of my parents as well. At my grans they knocked at the front door, because she lived in a terrace and it was long, inconvenient route to get to the back door. My other grandparents lived in a big house and friends always went around to the side door.

It doesn't make any sense to me at all. You're unlikely to be heard, or worse, turn up when someone's likely eating. I should point out our back door has a massive window guaranteeing they'll look through. Not good when you're half-dressed or ill or something. It's just not on.

I'd have to curtail my having a cheeky wank in the kitchen if that were the case here.

I can't even pick my nose in peace...

And speaking of which, one of the neighbours had a fcuking good nosey earlier when I was out the back spray-painting something. Walked the whole length of his backyard and then round to ours just to get a good look

My sister then comes home and opens all the windows and doors I had closed behind me whilst spraying 'because all I could smell was paint' :x

I've said it before and I'll say it again, East Belfast needs fcuking H-bombed and rebuilt. Maybe in some sort of Mega City towerblock so all those of average intelligence can just get on with their lives below.

I really wish websites would stop relying on spell and grammar checkers. I mean, I'm assuming that's what they're doing. It's always especially bad when it comes to listicles, but even the Beeb is getting worse by the day.

They are probably being all Millenial and writing on a tablet as well, with autocomplete.

WHY DOES IOS9 TURN ON BLUETOOTH AFTER UPDATING TO IT?!?
I also dislike the contact picture bubble in iMessages.
On my phone I don't have images attached to my contacts, so the picture place is just taken up by a bubble with the persons initials in it.
Total waste of space, in my opinion.

Mark

P.S. - sorry for the caps-lock rage.

Bollocks!
I had a three week job lined up in Abu Dhabi and was supposed to be flying out there today. At 7am it an email saying the work had been cancelled. Apparently the oil company only just told the agency that they wanted in house medicals and security paperwork which would take three weeks. By that time the job I was going to do would be finished.
The bastards. That trip would have solved a lot of money worries over night

I'm getting seriously sick of fcuking distraught technology.

First of all my net connection dies. So I reset that three times before it works. Then my computer totally freezes ten minutes later - haven't seen that since I ditched the spinning metal plate model... I restart it, and Firefox has decided to lose the most recent session, but keep last night's and a totally random one.

At work I decide to print a bunch of stuff while it's still in my head. Go the network printer and it's no longer in the print queue or my head... Know why we can never really trust 'the machines'? Cos we fcuking built them!

My sister has decided to leave an open, rather full KFC box in her room, stinking out the entire upstairs.

Go in to her room, get a piece of the chicken and place it in an almost unable to reach spot, let her tear her room apart trying to find the source of the stench.
