I think as usual or mostly you misinterpret my posts, most people can "translate" them but sometimes what I say can mean something else, but it seems its just you that jumps on my post with a negative stance when im just messing around, My last post was referring to both the fact its an indoor job and I will outright avoid any indoor job, plus I was jokingly suggesting that caz office was full of loud bellowing people, and if you knew me then I have a short straw for loud noise levels, I even come really close to putting my ear defenders on when Im with the whole family in a restaurant. And ive used the cyanide joke before (not on here) but when I was at halfords and this boy would just not shut up, talks through people and loud. nothing to do with race or where he was born

It used to annoy me that people couldn't understand what I was trying to say at one point. Often though it was a failure on my part to communicate correctly with the person involved becuase my mind strikes off in tangents every other millisecond and it's frustrating when people can't follow. It's even more accentuated on things like forums or in texts. Take responsibility for being misunderstood rather than believing those who misunderstand you to be responsible. It helps, obviously not always, but often. If you know what I mean.

I was hiding from someone last night, and completely forgotten I'd signed out when I logged on this morning.

I think taking responsibility for the way others percieve you is a key factor in growing up, some people remain teenagers all their life, believing everyone else to be brainless sheep who just "don't get them". These people are wont to complain about everything they see as unfamiliar and strange, because they wrongly see it as that culture not understanding them, when in fact it's they who have a prejudice against that other culture, and they don't even realise that it is prejudice. Prejudice is pervasive and damaging, and you should think about things a lot before you say them if you're about to make blanket statements about "the english" or "the irish". There are truisms which of course apply to any situation, however nevertheless it's important not to paint everyone with the same brush, espeically if that brush is saturated with negativity. "The narrower a man's mind, the broader his statements". Yeah you have more strange-seeming idiosyncracies than most Bratty, however don't brush off all criticism just assuming it's people "not understanding you". The annoying inconvenient truth in life is that other people are never quite as stupid as you want them to be, maybe they see you more accurately than you even see yourself sometimes, it's a bitter pill to swallow but it's called "humility" and it's an endearing quality.

Is the Rachel Riley thread NSFW or not? Should I mark it read, and potentially miss some vitally intriguing information in a thread about someone who annoys me so?

Generally speaking it's perfectly safe - she's on Channel 4 daytime TV after all. One image does not a NSFW thread make... Jon

One image, risky maybe but surely SFW.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

It was a genuine question as to its current state. I clicked a link, did some more work, started a build and alt-tabbed into my (now covered) browser. There was an image that caught my attention so I Ctrl+W'd before I could actually make a judgement. <eddit>Having now seen it I agree with Matt, but it just triggered the patented Edd-O-Matic Fleshometer out of the corner of my eye, so it was killed before judgement could be passed.</eddit>
