And just there now, the other two. Fcuk it

The other pics there are far more representative of what you actually get.

I've still got all the originals from the first time they came out :ugeek:

Still in their boxes?

Not in their boxes as they were played with but all are in almost mint condition, the only damage is a couple of the rubber bands on the motorbikes have perished (as they would after 20-odd years)

I just spent £1,000 on a new pc with 24in widescreen, fully mechanical keyboard and quad core Intel CPU. First new PC for 8 years.

I'm getting scary amounts of pleasure just typing words, I'm crying with happiness.

built it myself ofc

Have you found out what an equivalent PC would cost ready made would be?

The saving isnt much these days - I bought my new PC rather than built it myself - I costed up the parts and would have saved a few % but this way I get a guarantee so if anyhting goes up in smoke its just one company to deal with

Yes, significantly more :) But then again I didn't find exactly the same, and I have very specific tastes and knew exactly which version of each component I wanted. By building my self I essentially got a 24in Dell monitor 1920 x 1200 "for free". WHen system builders spec a pc they always get "on paper" figures and skimp on the quality so they can maintain margin. This way I chose exactly where I wanted to skrimp and save (graphics card and RAM, they're all going to perform essentially the same) and spent the money where it really counts, like the keyboard, case and hard disk (Plextor M5 Pro SSD baby) 8-)

Yes the margins on new PC's are pretty slim. Having one company to deal with can be useful, though some will custom build exactly what you want.
