Counting down the minutes to getting a middle seat?

It's landing here first before a short hop across to the Gorilla 5. So even if I do get a middle seat for five minutes, I'll grab a window one when half the passengers get off there.

When Royal Mail becomes privatised, will it still be allowed to be called Royal Mail? Will it still be allowed to sell stamps with the Queen's likeness?

British Gas and British Electricity are still British. I was under the impression it was the delivery side that was being sold and not all of it?

It keeps all the trappings and the six day week. Until it doesn't...

Can I scheme another car? Last weekend we went to a Crossfire meet, and across the way was a mahoosive Morris Traveller gathering. Reminded me of my Minor.
So, I find myself wondering if I could afford a Traveller. I'd need to buy one - which is possible. They are tax exempt, but would need insuring which I could do on a PAYG basis. I'd also need somewhere to keep it - which I don't have. So, really, running costs and maintenance b
All pie in the sky at the moment, but the idea of having another Morris is in the game plan.

I was meant to be going to the phone shop to get my new mobile this afternoon, but events transpired which put a spammer in the works.
Might get to go tomorrow but I am bloody annoyed.

I don't think this year can get any worse. Apologies for what follows, but I just need to vent my anger I think. Just as I thought things were looking up with my new job starting on Monday, got a call this afternoon to say my dad had died suddenly. It's looking like it was a massive heart attack as he had chest pains and pain up his arm just before he was unconsious - nothing anyone could have done, paramedics were there within 10 minutes or so and tried for 20 minutes to get his heart started again but to no avail. Looks like they'll have to be a postmortem as he wasn't under the doctor - although he did have a minor heart attack about 13 years ago, so that might be taken into account. I'm driving through to Yorkshire tomorrow but my head's just all over the place at the moment. Worried about my mum and my sister, it doesn't help being 100 miles away in Manchester of course. Not sure where that leaves my new job, will have to contact them and explain, but don't feel up to that today. Still in shock. I just wish this year was over and done with, I really do.
