Well, I quite like 'em. At least they've let me earn a living for the past couple of decades. I can't complain. Just imagine... a single PC that can run any OS you like - legally! Wouldn't that be something?

Wasn't that the SNES version? It wasn't officially released for the MD (far as I know )

Hmm, I do actually miss the Mac v PC discussions. I hated when such discussions degenerated to abuse though. The only opinions that I valued though were the likes of Big_D who had used both platforms for an extended period. However… I know quite a few people who have moved over from using PCs to Macs and would not go back. I know quite a few people who happily use both platforms. I don't know anyone who has moved from Mac to PC and preferred it. Anecdotal I know but there you are.

You wouldn't. People who moved were taken by the secret mac police and executed. Do you remember how much abuse one guy got after he claimed to have put pc inside mac case? Scarry... You are all freaks

I know of only one person who has switched from a Mac to a PC, and he doesn't prefer it...He was in some trouble money wise, so quickly sold his 20" iMac, and got a cheaper laptop, he says that he hates using it and claims that the drop in his grades at uni correspond to when he got the new laptop. Apart from that, I know people who happily use both. I know people who prefer Windows over OS X without really trying it. I know people who have switched to Mac and wouldn't go back. I know people who have to use Windows, but prefer Mac. I know that most of the people mentioned above wouldn't touch Linux or UNIX(OS X not included there).

Ben,
I have the iMac, but spend most of my using the Vista machine sitting next to it at the moment...
