I didn't see it all, unusually, but it looks like Hamilton had a decent drive. Although, a mechanical failure for his team mate doesn't look good from a reliability point of view. Martin Whitmarsh was quoted saying "we will not be afraid to risk reliability for performance" - which I understand now. McLaren are clearly miles behind the leading pack.
Have last year's reliability issues led them to over-engineer the car for robustness, at the expense of performance?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Indeed!!
Vetel really is a ruthless little sh1t, if Mark had done the same he'd get a royal bollocking, why do I suspect Vettel will just get a pat on the back from Helmut and his lapdog Horner and asked not to be a naughty boy again?!

What an arse. Somehow I get the feeling that the explanation his engineer alluded to won't be required.
Princess stompyfeet can do no wrong, especially in the eyes of that tool Helmut Marko.

Pity the final result spoiled what I thought was a pretty exciting race. I don't think I've ever seen three such miserable people on the podium !
Edit..... Make that four such miserable people.

Brilliant! Shamelessly nicked and posted elsewhere.

Official "RUSH" Trailer (out September): http://t.co/9bBMK3AjqTPlease, please, let it be as good as this trailer suggests! Hollywood doesn't have a good track record on Motorsport films, but I'm actually looking forward to this now.

I too have high hopes for this. On the plus side, it's Ron Howard and not John Woo, Michael Bay or Uwe Boll.

To be fair Senna would have "gone for the gap". But this is a different era. Webber has consistently drawn the short straw at Red Bull, but its still the best place for him to be. I imagine the rewards are there or he would leave. Most every Aussie sports type I have ever seen have pretty strong "games" mentality. So it must be quite sweet sometimes.
I just wish the others would hurry up and get their [LIFTED] in a pile so we don't have to listen to all the bickering.

Definitely some poison in the water down at Red Bull.
You don't run out of petrol. everyone has a job to do if you don't do it there is a reason.
