It sounds like they did a better job with the extras on the disc than with the film - here's a potential idea for the 'world' of the Batman Vs Superman follow-up (potential spoilers)

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/65150

And that's a far better set than that film deserves

Completely agree about the boxset. Love it and wish the film was as awesome. The potential storyline sounds far more interesting than MoS ever was. It has the potential to be the best superhero story ever, surpassing the TDK trilogy. But in the end, it comes down to how they handle it.

‘Batman vs Superman’ Insights From An Insider (potential spoilers, obviously)

Summarized version http://latino-review.com/2014/01/batman ... s-insider/

Bat-tastic, wider DC intentions version http://www.batman-on-film.com/BOF-Mailbag_1-1-14.html

Jesus, I was actually hoping Supes would be sidelined but rolled into the Justice League as their get-out for the character.

An ongoing Batman series is what I want. Snyder's the bloody problem...

Superman is the second biggest cinematic character for them after Bat Man, there's no way the company would sideline him.

No I mean purely for this film until they figure out what they're actually doing with him.

DC’s Game-Changing ‘Batman vs Superman’ Plan, & Casting Notes (filmed alongside Justice League?)

http://latino-review.com/2014/01/batman ... ing-notes/

I'm not saying they wouldn't try it, but I seriously doubt WB has the skill to make it work

‘Superman-Batman’ Release Moved to May 6, 2016

http://variety.com/2014/film/news/superm-1201062720/

Other sources say

Quote:
The delay of nearly ten months has been attributed to let the studio "allow the filmmakers time to realise fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story."

While fans will debate the pros and cons of delaying DC's biggest superhero property, it certainly gives credence to the rumours that Warner Bros. are planning to film Batman vs Superman and Justice League of America back-to-back.

Not only that, but it's a stated and inflammatory move of intention by DC - the new release date is the same as an as-yet-unnamed Marvel Phase 3 movie. The box office gloves are definitely off.

and

Quote:
When AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, STAR WARS EPISODE VII, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5, and BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN a.k.a. MAN OF STEEL 2 were all set to open during Summer 2015, it looked like it was lining up to be too colossal for all four to survive (let alone anything else that would be released that season). But J.J. pushed EPISODE VII back for rewrites and more extensive preproduction, PIRATES 5 retreated to 2016 for some extra breathing room, and now, BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN has been pushed back a year to May '16 in order to "help fully realize the vision". Taking its previous release date of July 17th, 2015 is Joe Wright's PAN, getting pushed back 3 weeks from its original date, June 26th.

This follows a mysterious post earlier today on Batman-news.com that claims the real reason for this delay is that Ben Affleck injured his leg, making the ass-kicking required for the role an impossibility. Whatever the reason, pushing back production will probably cause a delay for Affleck's next directing gig, his adaptation of Dennis Lehane's LIVE BY NIGHT.

They're gonna have to start giving the internet something to chew on soon enough or they'll get flattened by Marvel.

BvS Push-Back Update

http://www.batman-on-film.com/BvS_news_ ... 18-14.html

That would seem to suggest the 'filming back to back with Justice League' thing might not be correct, unless the plan is to make this the JL intro... My best guess would be that this is actually Batman's intro more than anything, with Justice League coming along if it works out. And hopefully they'll have the wit to ditch Snyder eventually in relation to Supes.

No spoilers, just a lot of casting and characters talk, a couple mentioned below...

My source, has provided me with some new information regarding Zack Snyder’s untitled Superman/Batman film. Hit the jump to find out which actor is playing Lex Luthor, the extent of Ben Affleck's injury, and WB's plans to establish their own calling cards.

Holloway's almost certainly out (if he was ever in) though if his new series does well

That initial bit about Batman had me in stitches , and the pic above just sums up everything that was wrong with MoS for me.

I doubt Batman would ever do anything like that. Does sound similar to what Supes did in the comics though.

Love the comments about aquaman at the bottom. Had me in stitches.
