Flash doesn't crash my Mac, it kills browsers most of the time. A lot of people seem to think an application choking is the same as bringing the whole machine tumbling down. This isn't 1998 any more.

Flash blockers FTW.

Even I've caught one of those and I barely watch the channels with ads

GTA Chinatown Wars coming to iPad this month

Take-Two has just confirmed that it will release a version of GTA: Chinatown Wars specifically for iPad "later this month".

The game originally released on DS, taking the GTA series back to its top-down roots with gameplay similar to the PlayStation 1 originals.

The game was later released on the iTunes Apps Store for iPhone and iPod Touch. Take-Two divulged no details on the iPad version, but with the bigger screen and a considerably beefier CPU in Apple's tablet device, you can expect touched up visuals at the very least.

More than 114,000 Apple iPad users have email addresses exposed in massive hacking attack
Quote:
The email addresses of more than 114,000 Apple iPad users including celebrities and politicians have been exposed in a targeted hacking attack in the US.
The massive security breach leaves all of those affected open to spam and malicious hacking.
The vulnerability affected only iPad users who signed up for AT&T's 3G wireless internet service.

Quote:
A hacker group that calls itself Goatse Security claims to have discovered the weakness by tricking AT&T's site into giving up the email addresses.

Doesn't sound like a proper security firm to me; I wouldn't want them probing my vulnerabilities.

More here, sorry it's from the Daily Mail Clicky

It's probably been in the ads during the rather good Father and Son crime drama on ITV - it's the first time in ages I've watched more than two minutes of ITV's output. And that includes their news

I think that they are being concentrated on evening TV. Though since I am trying to avoid C4 just in case that does reduce the odds of me seeing one.

I have seen one now. It was on another screen as I was on the running machine in the gym and I caught it at an angle. No sound though.
