I can't wait to pre-order mine, I think I'll be switching to Orange though. Also I will be getting the 16GB version, I have a 32GB 3Gs at the mo and I can't fit all my music on it so as I will have to manually manage my music I might as well get the 16GB and save a few quid, I really was hoping for a 64gb version. It's interesting the 3Gs is being demoted to 8gb.
I'm so glad it has WiFi N it won't interfere with my AV sender now, cabling Sky HD upstairs can wait a little longer.

Just reading through Engadget and they have said the WiFi N is only the 2.4 not 5Ghz!!!!!!! grrrrrr at it'll have to run on the G part of the dual band.

At the moment I have a 160GB iPod classic that's slowly dying. But I only have about 11GB of music on it. I think, for this reason, I'll be getting the 32GB version and sticking all my music on it.

Isn't it considered rather naughty to run a 802.11N device in the 5GHz band in the UK?

Mine is full and I could not get all my music on it. I do have less than 10 Mb free.

I don't think so as it's part of the 802.xx frequency spec, I think it's bad practice to run it with g networks around though as with most of them channel interference etc

I was planning to upgrade my wireless to n compatible. I have neighbours with b/g wireless networks. So will I have more interference or will they suffer from interference because of my network?

Just to say, the 'only running N in the 2.4GHz band' isn't a new thing - I bought a USB 'N' network stick for my netbook (as I wanted to go 'N Only' at home) and it only operates in the 2.4GHz not the 5Ghz band. The bad part of it is now, because they're operating in the same band, any device that's 'B/G only' can see my N network but can't connect to it, whereas before they didn't see it at all. Which was neater.

Yes I am looking to go N only at home as well. I will need to replace a few airport expresses, but since they are starting to go I might as well do so.

I am looking at getting an airport extreme and seven or eight airport expresses, for Airtunes and Airfoil.
