Quoting *FAIL* (8-p) (As a side note, I'm impressed by the offtopicocity of this thread. Well done people. We all deserve a pat on the back. Keep it up!)

"Short back and sides" is the common saying, I believe. But yes, I did phrase the title like that as I was in a slightly weird mood last night at 3am.

Dangerously straying back on topic for a moment.
I tend to go to sleep lying on my front. However, I also tend to wake up in the night and find I get back to sleep better if I'm sitting up (so I have a chair in my bedroom). If I wake up again after that I go back to bed.
I'm apparently a past master at falling asleep sitting up. Especially when on transport (cars and buses especially, trains not so much). My old flatmate frequently thought I was trying to inhale the roof lining of her car on our way back from work on more than one occassion.
Anyway, back off topic...

Sometimes going on-topic is indeed, staying off-topic, such is the paradox of the forum. Once you understand this, you are well on your way to random enlightenment.

On my back arms crossed. I look like a corpse and people tell me so.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Where's the 'Next to Rachel McAdams and Candice Swanepoel' option? Cos I only believe in answering honestly about such important issues.

I sleep on the right side of the bed (that it to say when lying in it I should roll right as I'd immediately fall off) and therefore I tend to go to sleep on my right side (If I sleep on the left I'll sleep on my left side). However, once asleep I move a fair bit, I've woken up with my head down where my feet were on a number of occasions...

What if the way you sleep is merely describably obscure?

This, usually. Often hugging a pillow, duvet or my big cuddly bunny. However, I do move around quite a lot so probably go through every position in the book. If it's hot then I tend to lay on my back, sometimes with my arms crossed like Matt. However, there's no chance of my being mistaken for a corpse because if I'm on my back I snore like an asthmatic hippopotamus. As to imaginary friends, last night I dreamed I was in Mexico laying on a cactus. It was raining hot chilli salsa and Shakira was dancing about an inch from my nose. I had nachos.
