Jennifer Garner says the new Batman suit is "a total reinvention, it looks great". To be fair, I'd be surprised if she has actually seen the suit. The film isn't out until 2016 for crying out loud. Mark

http://www.batman-on-film.com/batman-mo ... 26-14.htmlDidn't watch all of the trailer since it seems to set out most of the film, but it looks a little too Anime for my personal taste.

I can make you feel old.
The actor who played the cop whose name was Robin in TDKR played Tommy in Third Rock from the Sun.

Fox’s ‘Gotham’ Casts Major Roles http://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwtv/arti ... M-20140211Pics of actors and my thoughts below. Captain Essen - https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Zabry ... 66&bih=672She's a bit of an unknown, little info on her. As a result my only thought is they've changed Essen's ethnicity, not that that matters. ... Alfred - https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Sean+ ... 66&bih=672I can see Alfred being annoying more than anything (Pertwee's never played anything other than a cocky gobsh1te from what I've seen), I hope I'm wrong. ... Penguin - https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Robin ... 66&bih=672Again, an unknown really. Personally I've only ever saw him in one episode of The Walking Dead and didn't recognise him until I read that. ... Barbara Kean - https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=erin+ ... 66&bih=672She's not in anything I watch but my God she should be

As you read a broad spectrum of comics, can you tell me why Nick Fury of SHIELD is now black when he was white in the 70's and 80's? Was he black before the movies or has it just been because they wanted to cast Samuel L Jackson? Yes indeed.

To my knowledge the movies whether Fox or Marvel themselves have leaned towards the Ultimate Marvel line of comics (Fury's black there and looked like Samuel L. cos Mark Millar was the driving force ). The comic character became so intertwined with the movie character that the more mainstream Marvel Comics line retired white Fury and introduced his African-American son, Nick Fury Junior, who just happens to look an awful lot like Mr Jackson . So now both lines presumably have a very similar Fury in each despite being alternate universes. But I'm out of touch... With hindsight this is why you got the particular team that made up the movie Avengers, and probably why Fox has hired Millar to merge their Fantastic Four and X-Men movies when possible.

Thanks. I just looked on Wikipedia and it does seem as though the alternate version of Fury was based on Jackson, who later used that as leverage to secure the movie role.
So there's a 'real world' Nick Fury Jr and an 'alternate' Nick Fury and they're both Samuel L Jackson. Ok. Comics used to be so much simpler!
