Oh dear.

Terrible isn't it. Especially the tenuous link to the board game.

I could pick it apart all day, especially the plot holes. Strangely I liked it even so. Big ships blowing the crap out of each other :D The Missouri firing its guns looked cool as [LIFTED] and that little 'drop anchor' move brought out the kid in me.

6.5/10

I just posted this over on my Fb Wall, but not all of you can see that, so it's here as well.
Have a look at some of the films that Hollywood, for whatever reason, rejected.

I have the sci-fi book, must get back to it... I still want to see a decent I Am Legend, and I'd have loved to see a good director team up with Arnie for it :geek:

I also have the sci-fi book.
I still really want to see a Supergirl remake.

If Steel works out, anything's possible. Christ, even Steel himself might get a look-in:

;)

Supergirl would also make for an excellent thread in a potential Justice League franchise (Bats doesn't trust her, Wonder Woman wants to train her).

A rating of 2.7, that's low even by IMDB standards.
I'd never heard of that film, I guess the rating tells me I'm not missing much. (8+)

Point Blank, a subtitled French film, as opposed to the Lee Marvin job... Short and thrilling, innocent man gets caught up in a conspiracy, worth a watch...

Universal Soldier - Regeneration. Starts off quite well, but you then realise that's the entire budget gone... Seriously, it's almost exclusively one location and characters actually run round in circles for no reason whatsoever

'Night Of The Demon' is on Film Four in about an hour. Classic British B movie horror...

Somewhat sold as an accessible take on the source material, and it's pretty well handled, but you've got modern-day rapid speech patterns with the original text... The acting's very good though Butler looks like he can't believe he's in a film as usual. Only got 20 minutes in as the screenplay just isn't for me ;)
