They must be afraid of the dark and maybe guns work against some things at night? ;)

Still ages to go but I've already been asked what I'd like for Xmas. I was originally toying with the idea of an iPad (mainly to read the BMJ on rather than the magazines I get posted every week too quickly for me to keep up with), especially as I already have an iPhone so could use the same apps. I was gonna ask for vouchers so I could go buy one more cheaply.

I've now had a think. I'd like an exercise mat. And maybe a cappucino mug to lather shaving foam in.

I've been back two and a half weeks now.
Though due to an admin cock up, I didn't get paid for all that work.

Why is it that no matter how many articles I send to my Kindle, it's the enormous ones that seem to clog up the list at the beginning? There's no reason for it and it just means more clicking and swiping if I wanna read something frivolous quickly :(

There would have been a proper fcuk-up tomorrow if I hadn't double-checked a text and read 2 instead of the 10 I'd imagined...

The [LIFTED] in the room next to me set his 'nuclear meltdown' alarm for 6am and left it on for ages. It woke me up before he turned it off.

I've got a bad cold at the moment and I woke up this morning pretty much deaf in one ear.

I am wondering what is setting off the notification chime on my iPhone. I think I have turned off all the audible alarms. I must check again..
