The best way to enjoy boats is to enjoy other peoples. There are two days you'll enjoy owning one - the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Everything in between is like tearing up £50 notes in a shower. It's like caravanning, but in the wet. And more expensive.

Let me rephrase that: I'm pretty sure you can't legally buy them! Unless you do actually work for the armed forces or have very Royal connections..? I imagine a prince could probably have a few to play with, even one that wasn't in the forces :lol:

found an airsoft site that will sell them with no questions asked it seems, other site asks for ID but it is legal

Have to agree with this.

Spent a lot of time on the water over the summer and was happy to not be paying for any of it. Very, very expensive hobby. Plus, in Scotland, you'll be freezing.
