Might give this pub a visit if the opportunity arises: What's a sommelier?

Like a head wine waiter. I've eaten in there, when I was living in Maidenhead. Recommended.

As above, someone (a waiter) who knows their wines and which will go with your meal.

My other hints would be to book ahead for the busy times and don't expect the other patrons to be anything other than the gin 'n' Jags brigade.

One of my favourite meals is chicharrón from Bolivia, it's street food, you can buy a full plate of it for 60p. If you want to spend £10 in Argentina you can have a cow-sized slab of the finest most perfectly cooked-steak in the world. I used to want to have a meal in the Fat Duck, now I know that I would rather get a plane ticket to a foreign country and sample the local food, be it sausage and bread in Germany or some buttery nonsense in France and I'd get a much better experience for similar money .

Unless anyone can see something I can't, (all I can see is an empty post) I'd just like to say... another insightful post from bratty...

Stupid letting agency....
Sent a letter out asking us to resign our contract, said we could take 6 or 12 months
Called them and booked it lunchtime for a 12 month tenancy last week
Turn up and she printed the 6 month, said the landlady might not be happy with it and we may only get 6 months..... WTF
Also still not got a fixed garage door, 4 months now and no fix, I don't care less if the company has gone bust, dragging dirty wheelie bins through the house to get rid of rubbish isn't acceptable

You don't clean your wheelie bins?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

We do.... they just seem to get filthy as soon as the binmen get their hands on them

Carphone Warehouse have my phone back again after a day. It's their policy to now replace but they don't have any Desire HDs in stock. They phoned the service centre to see if they do and if not what the like-for-like would be. Answer: Samsung Galaxy S. Now there's nothing wrong with the Galaxy S but and its a tasty phone but how is this like-for-like....
Galaxy S Plastic construction 4" screen TouchWiz UI 5mp camera Audio?
Desire HD Metal construction 4.3" screen Sense UI 8mp camera & dual LED flash Dolby Mobile & SRS
Camera and sound aside the first three attributes are very important to me and the reason I chose this phone in the first place.
Oh well it has been sent off again now to see what they can do. If it isn't fixed this time and a replacement same handset not available I'm going to ask for a like-for-like HTC handset
