Install Leopars, not Snow Leopard. It has much more hardware support. @Prof: Cheers, I'll look into that. Now,

I heard on the grapevine that Apple is probably planning on breaking Hackintosh installs of Snow Leopard with the next round of bug fixes. Just be warned.

It looks like it's the netbooks they're killing by removing support for the atom. They may well be making space in the market for their own little netbook.

Companies that insist on you filling in an application form as opposed to sending in a CV can all go and suck my dick.

I agree. That's so 1970's! And it's usually public companies like councils or companies that are still in the ark when it comes to technology. I had to fax all my credit cards recently due to postal strikes. Do you know how hard it is to get fax numbers for these companies? One card gave me 2 different numbers both of which were disconnected *sigh*

That was posted on 4chan at about dinner time. Apple don't support my processor (Pentium D)but if you use a custom Kernel (build using XNU sources btw) you can get round this. For example, it thinks my PC is a Core 2 Duo.

It's equal oportunities. If everyone has to fill in the same form in the same format then people without fancy CV's have the same chance as people who could be bothered to spend an hours making their CV look nice.
