I am so utterly exhausted.
I'm at that stage where everything has that slightly surreal quality to it.
Everything looks like it's just half a step outside of what normal reality is.
I'm so seriously sleep deprived right now. (8+(

How long before you get to bed?

I went to bed as soon as I got in at 07:30.
I actually got a full 6hrs, which is still less than I'm used to getting, but more than what I have been getting recently.

I'm currently not as tired at the moment (probably because I got the 6hrs earlier), but there's another 6hrs to go before I get home.

Well try and find a sleeping pattern that works for you. As some one with no sleeping patterns I simply sleep when necessary, though that does make things complicated when people ring. Most of the time they wake me up. Not so bad for me as I will be able to sleep again as soon as I put the phone down. Though I doubt you could do so so easily.

Nearly finished my shift.
The good thing is, being a weekend, there's actually something good on TV for me to watch.
Just over three hours until Mythbusters o'clock.

Do you stream it from the US?

My sleep has tended to deteriorate as the night shifts progress. At the start, I'll get 6 hours and by the end, I'd manage 4. Hence I was always worse off at the end of seven days.

I never thought of that. I am so used to watching it on Freeview and knowing that it was not on freeview thought that you streamed it from the US.

It's sometimes on Quest on freeview, which is how I watch it at home. At work we have sky.

I'm the other way round. I get hardly any sleep to start with, but by a week and a half into my trip I'm getting the full 8-9 hours.

That is how I watch on Quest at 8pm, but it was early in the morning then, so I knew it would not be on Freeview then. Forgetting about sky and knowing that the rig was connected to US servers I assumed that you would use something like TVCatchup.

Na. I'm sure lots of streaming would grind the satellite link to a halt.
Having said that, it's much faster than the last rig I was on.
