Both black pudding and haggis are very good things indeed. As with many things, it's all about the quality. Bad ones are terrible and good ones are sublime.
Even rig haggis is quite nice. Black puddings are always always nasty!

Black Pudding rules.

Especially steamed with boiled potatoes and mushy peas.

Was at a posh restaurant last month and one of the blokes had a dish which came with spuds mashed up with black pud. It looked really bad, but he did eat it all! They had black pud with everything that day; can only guess they had a bulk delivery

I like it very simply sliced and grilled as part of a breakfast or mixed grill.

Always makes me think of blood congealed on vampire's chin.

I think the problem with black pudding is everyone knows what it is.

Sausage rolls and gravy obviously hired a better PR guy.

Masticatory lubricant of the gods. I just can't swallow meat without that lovely meat juice.

I know (roughly) what in donna kebabs too, but I like those. It's just something about the taste of black pudding I don't like.

That's why it's a requirement to be drunk when you eat them. I don't know what's in them, don't want to know. Rarely eat kebabs and if I do it's shish.

Not at all. The day my son was born, he and teh wife spent the night in hospital. At the end of visiting hours I went home via my favourite kebab shop and celebrated with a chicken kebeb and a donner meat & chips. (Their home made mild chilli rocks.)
Then I went straight to bed as I was knackered.

One of the best things about Sydney is being able to get a breakfast kebab. :)

I do not possess a vocabulary wide enough to adequately express the wrong in that sentence.

Several years ago, Big_D let me copy his CV style. Since then I have used it for several people, including Mrs. Bucket. Well, we got a call yesterday from an HR company saying that they had seen her CV online, they wanted to offer her an interview and that her CV was one of the most professional-looking they'd ever seen.

So props to Big_D 8-)

We got a 3% wage increase in January, and I've just received a letter awarding me a performance bonus equivalent to 6.5% of my salary!

Woohoo! :D

Well done. Don't you get told in person about money? We do here.

No, although I think they used to do it that way a few years ago (before my time here). I had a very positive performance review with the GM, but awards are decided at a much higher level these days. Even so, theres no reason why the news can't be delivered by immediate superiors.

Still, I'm not complaining! ;)
