Yes being accused of watching Twilight is highly libellous.

Hmm.. it's a fair target for satire but I have to say anyone expecting that kind of movie to give a crap about things like continuity and consistency is going to go through life being disappointed by an awful lot of things.

Finally caught up with Iron Sky on DVD yesterday. It started well and had some good moments but overall a bit of a let down.
5 out of 10.

Anyone mentioned Looper yet? Thoughts?
Had forgotten Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in 3rd Rock from the Sun

If you liked Sideways check out Win Win. Me and the bloke thoroughly enjoyed it and it takes a lot to get his attention away from Ebay these days lol. He actually closed the laptop lid

Ironclad - rent it, it's absolutely perfect for killing two hours and is one of the better films I've seen recently overall (script, editing, pacing etc)

Good cast, with Kate Mara, James Purefoy , Brian Cox, Jason Flemyng, Charles Dance (who appears to be in everything medieval-y at the moment), Derek Jacobi, Mackenzie Crook and Paul Giamatti. Giamatti is a superb King John, really captures this character and has a great time with some of the dialogue. I put this on when I was dog tired at 1am or something daft, and where I'd usually fall asleep, this film commanded my attention. Worth a look. | | | | |
That was my assessment, what did you think?

I agree, and in my case watching a film in the afternoon isn't the best idea (Blockbuster rental), but it doesn't flag at all. I'm already setting about getting it a slightly wider audience

Lol, it should have been a shambles: Actress Megan Fox was attached to the film when the film's production company, Mythic, began promoting it to investors at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Fox left the film and was later replaced by Kate Mara. Due to the decreased amount of credit and financing available in 2009, the budget of the film was reduced and the entire supporting cast was changed, with the exception of actors James Purefoy and Paul Giamatti. Producer Andrew Curtis described the financing of the film as "more complex than a London Underground map" to Variety magazine; the film ended up crediting 18 executive producers. [4] Principal photography for the film began at Dragon International Film Studios near the village Llanharan in Wales on October 9, 2009. A replica of Rochester Castle was built on the studio complex. [6] Producer Rick Benattar strove to make the film as historically accurate as possible, recreating the historical violent siege of Rochester Castle, and letting viewers experience the battle as if they were there. [7] Ironclad was the largest independent production that has been filmed in Wales, [3] and was among the largest independent films shot in Britain in 2009. Fox isn't fit to play a wig in that film

Hmmm, something of a sequel: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2404583/Might best be left alone, diminishing returns and all that... ... The director's also involved with this: http://www.imdb.com/news/ni17651988/
