The way technology is moving forward don't assume that.

D'OH!

I've just found out that ATI no longer supports my graphics card (9600XT) under Linux. :x

Might head over to the wanted forum to see if anyone can help me scavenge.

New (indoor) cage for my bunny has been dispatched. Its a bigger Savic Nero 4 to replace the Nero 3 we have (which I'll probably sell on for a few quid if anyone wants it - details to follow in For Sale thread maybe). Now I just need to get around to building that garden run.

I like the way the iPhone remembers half typed messages to a number of people so you don't have to start typing them again when you forget what you're doing.

Know what I mean? lol

*wonders why a bunny has anything to do with nero*

Not that you care, but plenty of other phones do that.

Why would she not care? It's amazing how useful little bits of information like that are, when you work in I.T.

It's not specific to Caz. It's just that in my experience, most iPhone users aren't aware and don't care that other phones can do the same things and have been doing so for some time.

So you're saying that iPhone users are the same as Windows Mobile/Windows/Symbian/OSX/Linux/Blackberry/Palm users?

We're all the same mate. Like it or not most of us, (me included) think our computer/phone/TV/car/electric can opener is the best, or we wouldn't have bought them.

I don't. My Skoda isn't the best, it just suited me. My TV was cheap and doesn't have the best tube, but it's price point suited me at the time. My phone doesn't have the nicest GUI, but it does what I need.

Maybe most other people keep quite about it, where most people I know with iPhones are forever saying, "Oooh look at what my phone can do." Especially in the pub. The rest of us never said that when our phones first started doing it a few years ago. Did we? I certainly didn't. I just liked it and then if someone asked me, I told them.

I think you're confusing my laziness with my wifes chronic rheumatoid arthritis, which makes opening cans with manual can openers very painful.

Feeling bad now, aren't you...?

Good!

;) :P  :etc:

Nope, not at all, I had no way of knowing so why should I feel bad? :P Let's face it, your laziness was a valid option at the time.
My arthritis is all in my knees and ankles which unfortunately means I can open cans just fine :(
