I received the Old Grey Whistle Test 40th Anniversary edition CD in the post today. A venerable trip down memory lane. It's 60 tracks that I have owned, heard live or heard on vinyl and emphatically needs to be played loud. Currently up to Solid Air by John Martyn, which is probably his most famous, and was recorded before the slide into drugs and alcohol had robbed him of the ethereal something that great artist have.

Audiobook of P.G. Wodehouse - Pearls, Girls and Monty Bodkin, read by Jonathan Cecil. Not that great a story so far :(
