I watched that over the weekend but never got round to posting the link. Loved the entire thing. Loved how they changed costumes but also changed instrument design to match the film.

Both of us here were rather shocked by the date of the Tim Burton Batman film (out of the three, that’s got the best music IMHO). That long ago? Mind you, the Nolan film series started in 2005, which I was surprised by. I always think films are more recent than they are. Yes - I liked the changing styles of the instruments, and matching costumes to the films. I particularly like the piano in the 1966 film sequence. I think they managed to blend the three themes nicely too.

Harry Dean Stanton was recently amazed to find out he didn't make Alien in 1985 lol.

Michael Keaton says he would play Batman again http://www.totalfilm.com/news/michael-k ... tman-againI think he's a little revisionist there; the script for the original alone was continually changing, and you can't really make Batman Returns and then call Forever 'awful'. Forever was probably a more successful movie in every sense. Would anyone even talk about Batman Returns if Michelle hadn't been so good in her role?

I seem to recall you liking bad films featuring women in skin-tight outfits right enough Lol @ pic, turning point indeed! They really need to quit with that sort of imagery

I remember BR being a good film and loved the characters. Yes Batman played less of a role. I read somewhere (possibly through this thread) that the third film was going to look at the origins of Batman which would similar to Batman Begins. Would have loved to have seen that over the Schumacher films.

I just thought Returns was OK as a kid but it's gotten worse with time, where as Batman '89 still stands up. Recent Batman and superhero films haven't helped of course.

When you relaise that he's just MS Painted the nipples in, it stops being quite as funny.

Well, Gotham is another show that has a mid-season break. I've stuck with it because I think it's got a decent story to tell, and despite it being a bit half baked in places.
Anyway, Sean Pertwee is being underused. He's clearly Bruce's batman in the old military sense. It's an interesting reversal I hope they understand they're doing and have a bit of fun with.

It finally looks to be going somewhere, but it's just really lazy sometimes.

I never watched Smallville so I don't know if it kicked off well or took a while to warm up. You'd expect Warners to be pretty careful with Batman, though. On a related note - that CGI Batman series never seems to have surfaced on Cartoon Network here - they seem to have gone straight to another series of the Young Justice, and the rather poor Green Lantern CGI series has vanished without trace. I understand the CGI Batman wasn't brilliant either.
