Better a sequel than a re-make, in the hope that there will be at least one drop of originality.

I'm just back from seeing Karate Kid.
Brilliant film. It makes me want to be a better person.
It also struck me that if you have a really good story to tell you don't need 3D. I await with growing trepidation the arrival of TRON : Legacy later this year.
