A sieve debate? Metal or plastic? I get annoyed when people use my sieves instead of a colinder.

A collander is, (in my opinion) better for pasta and definitely better for boiled potatoes, due to the larger holes, which on a sieve tend to get clogged up too easily. It's just occured to me that I have no idea what the correct spelling of collander is... I think it's right though

I knew my spelling was wrong, but being lazy and on IE6/XP couldn't be arsed to check. And I agree with you entirely. Nothing worse than having to pick someone else's mash from my sieve! With rice it's not soooo bad though, and that can wiggle through a collander. Generally a sieve should be for sifting though, non?

Having a mother that comes from BelGIUM I can confirm they speak FLEMISH and FRENCH and if you come from BelGIUM you are BelGIAN. I can't confirm that Lul means penis as the only word I learn is kicken (not sure if it's spelt like that) which means chicken. Bratty please make note now or I'll send round my Southampton British Father haha

Went as well as could be considered really I think the infection is cleared out, nurse was round today to repack it with gauze and check the padding (one from the past 24 hours was pretty bloody) In tomorrow to the clinic to get the dressing changed again Little bit sore sitting down, but the painkillers are working on that
