Yes that was awesome and very clever. Especially when I realised each wing was independent. Putting more downforce on the wheel with the least weight on it.

Wasn't it 800k though :-)

Just what we need - a car that you need to take to the garage when the avionics fail. ;)

By the way, really like the idea of the car with the four flaps putting extra downforce on each wheel when required. Really want that.

Only €849,000. Not sure I can quite run to that.

Was it BMW who had concept car that had a flexible 'skin' that adapted to the best aerodynamic profile at any given speed? An impressive thing, although it's bad enough leaving a convertible out on the street, let alone a car with a surface made entirely of fabric.

Quite enjoyed last night's. Although it wasn't startling or innovative it was, in effect, 'Top Gear doing what Top Gear does but in a better than average way'. Cars you can't afford doing things you wouldn't do with them and car you wouldn't buy if you had all the money on earth and, just for once, the weather made ASIARPC vaguely interesting.

That was quite fun. A bit of travelogue (and the woman 'concierge' on the LFA was.. well, crazy), bit of stupidity (the er... tyre markings) bit of stunt work (the laser tag stuff).

Next weeks looks interesting, to me at least. A traditional car vs public transport Top Gear race (Wembley to the San Siro), a GT-86 on the test track and the lovely Amy Macdonald in the reasonably priced car.

These sorts of races are fun. Much of the entertainment is down to the editing.

Missed it.
How long will it be on iPlayer for? I'm not back home for two and a half weeks.

I am sure it will be available on bit torrent before too long.
