No. Only proper tasty British gravy. Especially if made with onions.

Gravy is horrid. It's liquid and salty and makes everything soggy. a proper sauce made from meat juices maybe. English gravy yuck.

Please don't judge all us Brits on having poor taste buds and no idea what quality food is. Proper gravy made from meat juices is delicious although I hold my hands up and admit I do cheat, especially on a work day.

See! And Caz is nearly-sort-of-possibly-ish one of what you sort-of-nearly-within-a-few-miles could have been!

Que? Not a big fan of waffles. Red cabbage done the Belgian way is good. I was brought up on foreign food as Bratty would say. Never had roly poly or steamed pudding in my house!

The sauce that mussels come in is absolutely gorgeous, it's just a shame that it comes with an order of mussels.

And put such an eloquent way Edd. Yeah I could easily have been born in Belgium if my Mother hadn't fled a monstrous ex husband and ended up with her sister in the sanctuary of London. But London in the 60s? She's told me she had a blast and some how I believe her

Not a fish fan then? C'est la vie! I love scooping up the wine sauce with the mussel shells
