What question/s would you like it to have answered?

Namely the one about the astronaut shooting the Doctor from the first episode.

Like i said previously, whilst i don't mind plot points that go over an entire season (Bad Wolf, Cracks in Time etc.), the fact that they opened with a "major question" (i.e. wtf just happened) and it seems like the answer will be given at the end of the season just seems like a cheap tactic to try and keep viewers watching the entire season (which they didn't actually need to do).

It's always been about the subtle clues and questions in Doctor Who, the little things that crop up here and there (like Bad Wolf and the Saxon references), however this is more like the "Cracks in Time" i.e. blatantly obvious references and whilst that was done more to show that everything was linked and that the cracks were throughout time and space, this current one just seems almost pointless.

That's my opinion at least.

And mine...it's just getting silly.

According to the corresponding Doctor Who Confidential, any observant fan was supposed to notice that the Silence's space ship set was previously used in the season 5 (or 32) episode The Lodger. Passed me by completely :) . Really liked the character of Canton Everett Delaware III; I'd rather he was the Doctor's companion than Amy and Rory.

Spotted the space ship immediately. Thought for a moment "the bloody cheapskates reusing old kit"

I think Rory is developing nicely as a character. Think that they should get Amy back in skirts though.

I didn't watch Confidential but the Silence's TARDIS was obvious to me.
I think it's why they had to protect the child, because it takes a Time Lord to pilot it.
That much we learned in The Lodger episode of last season.

To anyone who has coaxed a car up a steep hill in first gear with words of encouragement. To anyone who gives their car a name. To anyone who has thanked their car for bringing them home safely:

The Doctor's Wife will resonate.

It was such a wonderful episode - well written, well acted, well directed. A real jewel in this run, and certainly one which will stand out for years to come.

It was a genuine fairy tale of a story - I hesitate to use the word "magical" - but I really feel it fits.

I really, really hope that Neil Gaiman writes more Doctor Who stories.

That. Just that.
It wasn't just great Who, it was great TV.

I agree that it was a good episode.... especially after last weeks "return to normal but not really anything special" episode.

Also this episode got the cogs in my head working for so many different plot points that could converge in the future and/or explanations for certain things.

[SPOILERS]
The "House" feeds on Tardis' and came to our Universe in order to feed on more. - The Silence are building Tardis'... coincidence?

Was it the "House" that was responsible for the Tardis blowing up at the end of the last season? (/see below) - boomy voice, trying to find a clip

We only saw the "House" affect Amy... could it have escaped into her and be causing her pregnancy? (The Positive/Negative thing would be it trying to hide) - it could have "escaped" in the past and then returned at some point later in the timestream - something to do with The Silence?

Idris' "Forest, Water, River" quote (i can't remember it exactly)... a reference to River Song and/or Forest of the Dead/Silence in the Library ?

[/SPOILERS

There were also other things on my mind, but they weren't quite as coherent.

Am I allowed to make a double entendre including the words 'Suranne Jones' and 'box' now then?

....

Oh, actually, I think you can probably manage it on your own from here.

Now that explains it. Although not wishing to sound sycophantic, I think the guy does have a genius imagination. May he live forever.

Awesome show was awesome.

I reckon tonight's was the best so far; a straight forward horror story. Really enjoyed it. Wasn't without its faults IMO....I didn't believe in Rory's behaviour and that annoying thing of a woman looking through a sliding panel in the wall is laughable. Still, my faith in the show has been somewhat restored as it was gradually drifting from 'must-see' territory to 'might watch.'

Better than even last week's? I don't think so.
I've had a bit of a thing for Sarah Smart since I first saw her in Home With the Braithwaites.
