So it appears the majority voted for a change. Should we now have a vote on which change?

I am not worried by a vote, let our benevolent overlords decide. Though something that is simpler to be set up would make managing the forums easier makes sense. Let our overlords decide which options to present.

Just running through some options.

Will probably start with merging PC hardware & software then mac hardware & software. Will look at networking & internet after that.

The overall categories will be changed around once I see what the page looks like.

Do we need a general tech forum (for things that either span multiple sections or random questions)?

A general tech forum would be worth trying for a while, just to see if it would be used.

Did any sort of general consensus ever come from this thread?

Mark

I think that we were open to change.

If necessary do the changes slowly so that feedback can be collected.

If we are going to start doing sports news may I suggest a separate forum for that category?
Preferably fenced of with big warning signs?

Why not just have it as a seperate sub-forum under the news forum?

When did we agree a sports forum?

Based on the 5 threads created in 3 years I'm not sure it needs it's own forum yet.

I wasn't suggesting that we should have one, merely responding to Mark.

Apparently, the Danish national handball tournament is on at the moment. And we all know about Danish chics - right??
