I've got the TV on in another room and I'm listening to the commentary while typing. Sounds like Ghana are having much the better of it but can't convert their chances. They may regret that, I have a feeling Suarez or Forlan won't be so wasteful.

Uruguay had the best of the first 15mins, Ghana since then. But yes, they will really regret these misses.

Hang on, no, they've taken one. 1-0. It didn't half bend.

Absolutely mental match. One of the best I've seen, ever.

100/1 bet still on. ;) :D

Edit: Fantastically cool way to finish off the penalties.

Mm. I'm not sure an African side has ever won a penalty shootout at the world cup finals. Nevertheless you have to respect Gyan for taking the first one in the shootout.

That's why he was red carded and they got a penalty. You play games to rules.

Normally the wronged team either score the penalty or they have an advantage because the other team have to play the rest of the game a man down. Just in this case the penalty was the last kick of the game so that advantage was lost. Having said that,Gyan should have scored the penalty and then justice would have been done.
