Good morning all.

What a glorious start to the day - blue skies and pretty white clouds. A far cry from the light snow/sleet showers the beeb was predicting yesterday.

Morning.

Better kippage last night, and yesterday was a productive day. That makes me feel better all round, and I hope for a repeat performance today.

Onwards and sideways.

Just spent the better part of the day in the hospital, after waking up to pretty severe stabbing pains and the feeling that my chest is being squeezed in a vice.

After an ECG, blood test, chest x-ray and much prodding and poking, I was informed that I am not about to drop dead and I don't have heart disease or lung cancer. What do I have then?

"Well... we're not sure, it could be acute acid indigestion or a musculoskeletal problem...

...try taking some Gaviscon and, if that doesn't work, make an appointment with your GP"

Sounds stupid, but that's the exact same set of symptoms I had when my Gall Bladder kicked off, even down to it happening at night and waking me up. Try switching to a really low fat diet and see if your GP will send you for an Ultrasound. Best of luck xx

Morning.

Watching the news aghast. So we've been eating horsemeat disguised at beef? Has anyone actually died? This smacks more of a labelling issue than anything about "contamination".

I think we need to grow up and stop worrying about it. It's meat. Other countries eat horse, why shouldn't we?

Morning all.

Fresh coffee and cooked a bacon & egg baguette at work.
Almost ready to start the day.

Evening all.

I appear to have won the January Photo competition. Now all I've got to do is think of a topic
