There isn't a 'Red Queen' in Alice In Wonderland. The character generally referred to as 'the queen' is actually The Queen of Hearts, because she's a character based on a playing card. Her appearance isn't actually described in the book as far as I can tell. Hearts as a suit are red obviously but... Anyway, I'm sure the makers aren't looking for an audience which analyses it's literary heritage. They're looking for one that thinks "Boobs!"

The show is a spin-off from Once Upon a Time. Mixing in characters from all manner of different tales and having them interact with each other. It probably won't matter if this or that character was or wasn't in this or that tale. Mark

She used to do the local BBC news in these parts. She was fairly nondescript when on that. She was good at her job, but like the rest of them she kind of just faded into the sofa, she wasn't memorable at all. Just shows you what a new haircut and a different wardrobe can do.
