So what you're basically saying is, the world is now basing all it's technological advancements on what was previously possible in Knight Rider?

Funnily enough I recently started rewatching the original series of Knight Rider. There are more and more things that the original car had that has become commonplace now - handsfree phone calls, GPS, infrared screen, runflat tyres etc. I'm still waiting on turbo boost and MBS though.

Molecular bonded shell. It's what they coated KITT with to make it near indestructible. Was first demonstrated in an episode featuring the "evil twin" (so prevalent in shows of that era) Garthe knight (david hasselhoff with a moustache, cuz we know all baddies have facial hair and heroes are cleancut) and Goliath, a truck coated in the same substance.
