"He hasn't done anything for the past 12 months (bar signing holiday forms), why change the habit of a lifetime?"

I s'pose he could stop asking me how to do things or fcuking things up. That'd free some of my time up.

Sorry cannot resist "Has Mrs V been speaking with forked tongue then John?" :?

Seriously hope she is OK.

If I'd said that, I'd still be out cold now....

I thought I had mentioned that she had a strange "growth" on her tongue, and she went to have a slice taken off for biopsy.

She should find out in 2 weeks or so.

He seems pretty tied up with stuff, but I'll nag him whenever I see him :)

I had something similar once, it turned out to be a fibroepithelial polyp which was benign. I hope your wife's "growth" is also harmless.

Just about to book a time with the MD to discuss my bonus (or lack of).
This is going to be a fun day

Oh, I hate that. Cold feeling in the pit of the stomach, sweaty palms, can't settle on anything.

Best of luck, though. Hope the MD doesn't make you wait too long.

Still very vague as nothing they decided in directors meetings is in writing. Looks like they're trying to split the bonus over 12 months.
I'm waiting for the reply in writing with the exact way it would work (as I asked the question "what happened if I left in 3 months, would I get the remainder in a lump sum?") before I get it clarified & probably hand in my notice.

Time to get in touch with my old company to see what package they've worked out for me

Don't jump until you have something confirmed to go to.
