My thoughts?

Total arse
short and to the point

Sorry

It could be a perfectly good service (and probably is) but that claim just makes them look silly.

(IMHO of course ;) )

So I'm off to meet with my potential new employer at lunch time. I've had 2 interviews and a psychometric test, they've checked both my references too. I'm guessing this is either going to be a final interview for them to make a decision or they're going to discuss terms and offer it too me. Hopefully the latter as it's a position I really want.

Wish me luck.

Break a leg........ ;) ;)

Good Luck :D

Cheers guys. They actually had a contract waiting for me when I arrived. They wanted to discuss some terms and what not, but I should start on 5th December. Woo.

Thanks for all the support guys, I sincerely appreciate it. I'm a little nervous but really looking forward to it.

So, any tips for me? I'm going into a much more managerial role and this will be the first time I've come into a company as a manager rather than being promoted to one.

It's a tough one... You shouldn't walk in and try to show anyone "who's the boss" but you need to make sure that you are going to be taken seriously... The best advice I can give is to see how the people are when you arrive and take it from there. Oh, and be yourself!

Management. That means meetings. Then meetings about the meeting. Then meetings about arranging a meeting about the meeting. :D

What kind of company is it? And what level of management is it?

Yes and remember respect has to be earned too many people think it comes with a job title.

We've just measured Cyril...he's 3.34ft long now which means he's grown 10in in 4 months!

I think his growth spurt might have started :D
